it’s normal to expect teenagers to decide the rest of their life (their major, career trajectory, specialty) but… 😭✋🏻 how??? i was very confident when i chose ballet but i’m glad i decided to carve my own path afterwards.

if you’re going through a quarter life crisis, career pivot, or still figuring it out, just know that i am here for you! we are in this together! 🙂‍↕️💗

there are soooooo many times i just want to skip to the end — when watching a show, reading a book, making a video, and on and on. but!! i’m learning to pause and take a note from my younger self. 🫂 because the most rewarding aspect is often through the experience of it rather than the end result. 🕺

cringe is an unavoidable and without it there is no discomfort, discovery, or development. 🙂‍↔️ so yes, allllll the cringe-y moments as a teenager helped create who you are now (in the best way!).

if there’s something out there that you’re holding back on in fear of cringe, let this be your true reminder to embrace cringe!!! 🫂💗

REVIEW + DISCUSSION: six of crows, by leigh bardugo

warning: i really enjoyed this book and i tried to be critical about some stuff but it’s mostly just going to be fangirling SORRY. leigh bardugo outdid herself and this book makes me scream in all-caps and weep. you know...

REVIEW + DISCUSSION: the fill-in boyfriend, by kasie west

this book was too adorable for my heart to handle. this was my first kasie west novel and i absolutely ADORED it. i planned on reading one chapter, starting at 12am, and ended up finishing the entire book. in that...

REVIEW + DISCUSSION: queen of shadows, by sarah j. maas

sarah j. maas did not hold back from being an epic fire-breathing bitch-queen. QUEEN OF SHADOWS was a whirlwind, a roller coaster ride in itself. you’d expect that since it’s one of the “middle books” of the series, it would...

REVIEW + DISCUSSION: heir of fire, by sarah j. maas

i was hesitant on starting HEIR OF FIRE. i enjoyed THRONE OF GLASS and CROWN OF MIDNIGHT, but they were both solid 4/5 stars. there was so much hype surrounding this series and i just didn’t get it. i’ll admit:...

REVIEW + DISCUSSION: the well of ascension; brandon sanderson

i had fairly high expectations of this book, considering the mistborn was so good. so it means a lot when i say, it surpassed my expectations. i don’t even know where to begin. brandon sanderson has a remarkable way of...

REVIEW + DISCUSSION: the retribution of mara dyer; michelle hodkin

the retribution of mara is the third and final book of the mara dyer trilogy. i feel a bit uncomfortable summarizing these books because everything – the actual summary, the descriptions, the beginning – is very vague. there’s a dark, mysterious aura...

REVIEW + DISCUSSION: in the afterlight; alexandra bracken

this is, without a doubt, my favorite trilogy to ever exist. this is the highest rating i’ve ever given, and i don’t think there’ll be a book to surpass it. (i’ll explain later why i took 0.15 points off. may or...
