whenever an irl friend mentioned that they saw ✨this✨ space, i’d want you to hideeee… but i’m trying to take a note from my childhood self and embrace being seen. 🫂

letting yourself be seen can be terrifying because of potential judgement, but it is also so so rewarding! this space is an example of it; i’ve made so many life long friends and grew into myself beyond imagination. and it was only possible because i allowed myself to be subject to embarrassment that i found connection. :”)

so let this be your sign to put yourself out there and be seen 🙂‍↕️🌷✨💞

a day in the life through my childhood lens 🌷 what would my childhood self do? probably stay in bed, wear the fun outfit, and go outside. but realistically, go to school and ballet. 🫢 this was a fun little exercise and i hope it inspires to you think what your childhood self would do in your adult shoes!

REVIEW + DISCUSSION: heir of fire, by sarah j. maas

i was hesitant on starting HEIR OF FIRE. i enjoyed THRONE OF GLASS and CROWN OF MIDNIGHT, but they were both solid 4/5 stars. there was so much hype surrounding this series and i just didn’t get it. i’ll admit:...

REVIEW: all the bright places, by jennifer niven

REVIEW: the walls around us; by nova ren suma

if i had to describe this book with one word, it would be ‘HAUNTING.’ “We went wild that hot night.” – pg. 1, first sentence the walls around us was like nothing i’ve ever read before. it’s very mysterious, and...

REVIEW: endgame: the calling; by james frey

reading this book was slow and slightly painful. it wasn’t the worst book i’ve ever read, but it most certainly wasn’t the best. i hate to compare novels with other novels, but i couldn’t help but think of it like...

REVIEW: mistborn; brandon sanderon

reading mistborn was like riding a roller-coaster when you signed up for the merry-go-round. before starting this book, i was iffy about a few things: 1) this book is so big; 2) THIS BOOK IS SO BIG. after too many...

REVIEW: red queen; victoria aveyard

reading red queen was a frustrating process; i was super interested in the plot, but everything else made me cringe. the story is like any other dystopian: a poor girl is somehow different and special compared to everyone else. the king...
