YES XAN ANOTHER LIFE UPDATE. not to be a creepy stalker or anything but i absolutely loveee your life updates. currently, i’m being stifled by the monotony of having to go to school every day so this post came at such a good time as i could live vicariously through you and your XAN-VENTURES and of course, stare in awe at your gorgeous pictures. now you can relax! yayyyy! but i also wanted to say how much your dedication & drive inspires and motivates me. i loved what you said about technical difficulties and not to get *too* cheesy but i feel like you could extrapolate that to be about life in general. like there will always be obstacles & things that don’t go your way and you just gotta keep on keeping on and make the best out of it.

anyway loved reading this post! also weird sidenote but as lovely as those bookstores & restaurants are (and they r super lovely), i think i got the most excited when you mentioned jfk because i LOVE airports. is that weird?? i just really love flying and being in airports in general and honestly, most of the times when i’m on a trip, being in the airport will rank as one of the best moments. ok i’ll stop rambling about my obsession with airports now haha. have a good april xan! xo

I feel like I’m totally getting in the middle of a conversation here but I saw this and I love airports tooooo. My joke is always that airports are my second home because I just feel so COMFORTABLE in them. (which is probably super weird but whatevs)

Ahhhh omigosh you saw snow! Yay!!! *confetti* (I’m also SO shocked when people haven’t seen snow even thought snow isn’t -that- common in most of the world lol) I love hearing about all your awesome little adventures; though I’d love to hear more about actually competitions sometime because I always love learning about other athletic pursuits. Speaker/music problems are actually suppppeeerrr common in synchro and I actually like when it happens too because you kind of get a practice walk-out and sometimes dive in if the speaker craps out like 2 seconds after the music starts. It feels like an extra warm up or something and makes me feel so much better. 🙂 I also loved the video of you dancing! It’s so pretty and I love it. <333

Your photos look amazing! I could feel your own excitement just looking at them. And congrats on placing 3rd!! I loved the video of your performance — you look so poised. On the whole, I’ve always admired ballet dancers for the dedication it requires and watching you on the sidelines through IG, Twitter & your blog just really confirms that drive.

Your performance looks so amazing! If that’s your “not-so-good” ones, I can’t imagine what’s your good one looks like 😀 And it seems like you had a ton of fun travelling around during the competitions. And those sushi just looks so ravishing, yum!

(Yes yes, calm down on the adjectives Cait. CALM.) Ahem. And that video of your dance was afjkdslad amazing. Which probably means nothing from someone who knows ZERO about dancing (aka me) but squeeeee! BUT YOU ARE AMAZING SO YEAH. 🎉 🎉 (Also much bookshop love. I so want to do a bookshop crawl one day. Bucket list. :’)

Lovely post, Xan! I really enjoyed seeing your performance; you’re a lovely dancer. And all these photos make me want to immediately get up, leave my office, find a cute bakery to eat at and then visit a bookstore and just linger!
