this past month i’ve worked with a few other bloggers to do this project that i’m entirely sure what it is.. BASICALLY, nori decided to do this thing called the BOOK BLOGGER CREATIVITY PROJECT (you can look more into her post). bloggers – new and old – are sorted into groups and we try to think of something clever for our blogs. it can be a feature, book recs, tag, anything! i was in the orange team and we decided to go around interviewing each other so we could all get to know more about the bloggers themselves! we spend so much time on our blogs, but do the readers (you guys!!) even know us? (well, i guess you know me. sorta. i talk about myself a lot HAHA.)
i was lucky enough to interview nori, the mastermind behind this whole project!
personal questions
Introduce yourself!
Hello there! My name is Nori and I am the blogger at www.readwritelove28.com. I am the creator of the #BookBloggerCreativityProject, and I’m known on Twitter as being the founder of the #RQWN twitter chat! I’m also known as the Poodle who reads because that’s my twitter icon.
What are your other hobbies outside of reading and blogging?
Well those are two of my biggest hobbies. I absolutely adore dogs, so I like to play with them whenever possible. I also enjoy surfing the internet!
blogging questions
How long have you been blogging?
I’ve been blogging for over a year. I started in July of 2014.
What made you want to start a book blog?
I wanted a place where I could share my passion of reading with the world! I also figured that it would be a good way to ‘force’ me to start reading more.
Who are your blogging inspirations?
Oh I have so many! If I had to pick only a couple… Ashley from Nose Graze, Crystal from Bookiemoji, Sarah from What Sarah Read, Danielle from Love at First Page, and Kris from My Friends are Fiction!
What has been your favorite or most memorable moment of book blogging?
One moment? I can’t pick just one! I absolutely LOVED meeting some of my blogger friends at BEA and Bookitcon, so I guess I would pick those two moments?
What does blogging mean to you?
Blogging means the world to me. I’m so happy to be part of this incredible bookish community. I’ve made so many new friends.
What plans do you have for your blog in the future?
So many! 😀 But they’re a secret for now. 😛
What advice or tips would you give to new bloggers?
I actually recently did a TWO WEEK feature on the Basics of Book Blogging where I discussed advice! You can check the posts out HERE.

TAMORA PIERCE

Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson, Carpe Diem by Autumn Cornwell, Truthwitch by Susan Dennard, The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows, The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater…I could go on and on forever.
Favorite genre?
YA fantasy or contemporary!
What is an instant turn off in a book for you?
Hmmm, good question. I’d say that it honestly depends on the book/ There are some that I immediately connect with, and some that I immediately know that I’m NOT going to connect with, and that’s okay.
Recommend some books that you think everyone should read!
ALL BOOKS BY TAMORA PIERCE PLUS ALL OF MY FAVORITES THAT I LISTED ABOVE.
