it’s animal crossing month! and no social media month (for me at least)! which means!!! more time to read!!!!! maybe. so far, i’ve spent my time playing stardew valley, watching svt or ba videos, and getting over caffeinated ahAh.
regardless, i’m participating in the animal crossing readathon! i think it’s mostly on twitter (which i’m,, not on atm) but i’ll share my progress and talk about the updates here.

i’ve been working on Anna Karenina for the past month(??); it is SO LARGE. i’m halfway through this 900+ paged monster and have been switching between the audiobook and physical copy. lately, i’ve been reading it on the physical copy a bit more – mostly because i keep getting distracted while listening to it lmao. i’m not sure if i’ll be able to finish it by march 20th, but will persist!

i received Chain of Gold early and still was not able to read/finish it before the publication date. *cries* IT’S OKAY. i’ve decided to listen to the audiobook so i’ll definitely get through the whole thing. i might switch between that and the physical copy. i know – cheating a little but it’s FINE.

Tweet Cute has been on my TBR ever since tiffany @ read by tiffany book-pushed it at me by literally lending and low-key forcing me to read it lol. it’s a romance between two people who run opposing family business twitter accounts. think romeo and juliet meets social media?? i’m not sure how to describe it but it sounds cute and refreshing. also big family themes since it relates to family businesses!

the last book i purchased (aside from Anna Karenina) was Wayward Son back in november. i’ve been telling myself, “i’ll read this next” so hopefully now: I WILL ACTUALLY READ THIS NEXT. i reread Carry On and forgot how much i love the world and characters and writing so i’m excited.

i kiiiiiinda wanted to reread The Infernal Devices before starting Chain of Gold but seeing as that’s not possible since i already started CoG….. i’ll reread TID — in manga form!! i’m lucky enough to have the copies so i’ll read it before i reach the end of CoG. better than nothing! still giving me all the ~feels~! ready for cassie clare to rip my heart to pieces in TID (again) and CoG!!! as per usual!!!! :”)
a bonus: i’m also hoping to reread Anna K for our subtle asian book club!!! this is very ambitious of me to read six-ish books in ~two weeks, which is why i’m adding Anna K as a bonus. honestly, i think i’ll end up skimming it rather than actually reading it but better than nothing, right?
