Blogging means a lot to! I feel like I get to learn who I am by blogging, like you said! Besides my personal blog, I love reading other people’s book blogs (like yours!) and blogging has become such a big part of my life now I don’t know what I’d do without it!

Happy Blogiversary:) blogging to me, is fun. It’s a way to share your opinions and love for something with others. It’s a way to make friends and a way to spend your time doing something productive too 🙂

Congrats Xan for all the success! Happy Blogiversary 🙂
Personally, blogging is my outlet. I don’t have much bookish friends except for two who I can truly share my thoughts with on a book or simply rave and fangirl, but through social media, from my new blog (which is still in the works) to bookstagram I’ve found a community that is pretty fun and inspiring! I just love being able to share my thoughts in written words since it’s sometimes difficult to express them through ones spoken aloud.

P.S. I’m actually pretty thankful instagram featured the bookstagram community that one day last year or else I would have never stumbled upon it. (okay enough with this essay, congrats again!!!)

first of all, happy blogeversary, xan! you’ve come so far and I’ve been following your blog/Bookstagram/all your social medias since late 2014!

for me, blogging is my favorite way to express myself, through writing. more specifically, writing/blogging about books (something I’m really passionate about!).

You have one of my all time favorite blogs. I also love your YouTube channel. As a fellow YouTuber and blogger I know it’s a lot of work. Hope to see you blogging and YouTubing for many years to come 🙂

Congrats! I totally agree with how blogging means putting yourself out there which can be really scary. It’s hard to share opinions and be honest with yourself and at the same time avoid offending or upsetting people who have an opposite opinion. But in the end it can be a great success. Especially in the case of your blog that I always enjoy visiting 😉

For some people, including myself, blogging is a way to let out everything I am thinking and feel at peace with myself. It’s a way to connect to others who can relate and love it just as much.

Happy Blog anniversary! Congratulations on two amazing years.

I agree that blogging is a way for us (bloggers) to have a voice. But also, for me, it’s a way to share my creativity with the world and to learn new things. Thank you for sharing your self with us!

Happy blog anniversary!! In my point of view, blogging is a way to share your opinions with the world & a way to get your voice out there. It’s a way to connect with people across oceans who you normally would not be able to connect with

Happy blog anniversary! It has been a joy to see you do your thing and I agree that blogging is a way for us to let ourselves be heard. I often times have a hard time saying what I need to say, but I love that the internet is such a family and we can all share our thoughts and opinions! 😀

Happy blog anniversary !! I just started blogging in January but I’m still getting used to it but it is fun. I also love the bookstagram community. I love how everyone interacts with each other and we all have the same interests. Also when it comes to blogging I am able to express my opinion and just have a voice like you said. I have made a few good friends due to blogging and bookstagram and I am grateful for them. I hope the next year is wonderful to you. Happy blog/bookstagram anniversary 🎈💕

Happy blogiversary!!! Blogging to me means the ability to be able to open gateways to people on the internet by sharing your love for certain things. Sure you can easily do this in person, but when you’re expressing your love and voice for something on the internet, there is more power to be able to fully express yourself the way you want to do it best, with the power of words. It’s being able to give yourself a voice that you might be uneasy and afraid to express out loud. That is why I think blogging is amazing ❤

Blogging is so important because sometimes I feel like “normal” people just don’t get it. This wonderful bookish community is a great escape and a wonderful place for me to fangirl and freak out over books and have people understand me and what I am going through. This is a great post and CONGRATULATIONS on two years. That’s huge!! Percy Jackson is amazing 🙂 🙂 🙂 your son? There must be a story there?

Happy blogiversary! I actually JUST started blogging today! I’m not sure yet what direction my blog will take; for now it’ll just a collection of my thoughts, adventures, and book reviews. I haven’t really been blogging long enough (only one day LOL) to be able to say hat my favorite thing about blogging is, but I decided to start as a way of organizing my thoughts and share them with the world.

  26. Julie says

Happy Blogiversary!! It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged, but to me blogging is being able to share your thoughts and opinions with people who are interested! It’s about getting to say whatever’s on your mind.

  27. jaida Howell says

i’ve only just started blogging but to me blogging means: sharing how you feel, sharing your opinions and not needing to fit others want or needs just yours. For a girl who has social anxiety it helps because im behind a screen and no one can judge me 🙂

  28. Ari Castro says

I begun blogging in the beginning of 2016. I began customizing my blog and trying to get it as perfect as possible in January, and in February I had posted my first post. It was an intense situation, it was nerve-wrecking to me, and I know that I have a long way to go before I’m satisfied in myself. Now, blogging to me means a way to express myself, a way to connect with people who feel the same way I do about things that we find important.

  29. Eliana Teixeira says

I’m not a big blogger at all, but, for me, blogging means helping others, giving our opinion about something that can help people, even if it is just picking a book or buying a t-shirt.
    Happy Blogiversary 😊😊😊

I don’t blog, but I love love love to read and follow blogs. I don’t really know anyone who has the same taste in books as me, so I adore being able to talk online via blogs and read others opinions.
