do you remember me RAVING about THE DARKEST MINDS and alexandra bracken in almost every single one of my posts last year? oh, those were the days. well, i still rave about her but not as much because i don’t want to bury you with my constant fangirling. (see, i’m being considerate. if i had a choice, she would make an appearance in every. single. one. of my posts.) when i heard there was going to be a collection of THE DARKEST MINDS novellas, i was about to explode with excitement. i was so devastated when the last book came out because it meant NO MORE LIAM OR CHUBS OR RUBY OR ZU OR VIDA. *sobs* (but i was also happy because i wanted to know what happened and the conclusion was FANTASTIC. my review + discussion is here~)

now that i’ve got you thoroughly excited for THROUGH THE DARK, i’m going to get you BEYOND EXCITED for alexandra bracken’s new series!! the first book is entitled PASSENGER and it’s scheduled to release on january 5th, 2015! (more info on the book HERE) the story is about time travel and PIRATE SHIPS (like imagine captain thorne from the lunar chronicles or jack sparrow traveling through time!!!!!). also the cover makes my heart drool. i was lucky (so incredibly lucky) to have received an ARC of the book and i quickly devoured (and loved!!) it. OHMYGOD PEOPLES, YOU NEED TO PICK THIS UP ON THE DAY IT’S RELEASED. now that i’ve read it (and i have it), i will be shamelessly raving about this until and after the release. HAH.
